Working with WunderTRE is a delightful journey! We’ve given it a name. We call it “WunderTRE(k)!”
Recently, when we re-approached the question of “How do we want our customer experience to look like?” We knew we had to do something different than the standard digital marketing agency.
Once upon a time, we were trying to make a service called WunderTRE(k), a unique “leveling system” that would show our clients their digital marketing progress visually. After pouring over trying to build it for 8+ months, we realized that WunderTRE(k) shouldn’t just be something that represents a service we offer, it should be the literal embodiment of what it’s like working with WunderTRE.
After some adjustments internally WunderTRE(k) is now better positioned to represent all the layers of our process and it’s what we call our “secret sauce” but it’s not a secret. At its core, WunderTRE(k) is comprised of 3 elements, The Rules, The Team, and The Tech.
Throughout life, rules help us understand the conditions of whatever actions we’re about to take. Whether it be a “friendly” game of Monopoly, or taking a company public, before you begin you have to know the rules. We believe strongly in the fact that the art of business to customer relationships has rules as well. Why does your business exist? What is your business? How does it present itself? Who is its ideal buyer? What is their journey? How do you keep customers flowing? The answer to these questions are what we believe a business should live by aka, the Rules.
At the beginning of 2019, we came out with a product we call “The Rulebook.” Initially, it was designed to encompass what your business’ brand was, and some insight into its customers. As time has gone along, it’s evolved to encompass more information and to truly be a ruleset that you can look to when making decisions.
The Rulebook exists to bring clarity into your business interactions, customers, and goals. It’s meant to be THE document you need when it comes to how your business should present itself.
The first thing we do with all new clients is to go through the process of building a rulebook for their business, it’s an important prerequisite that has lead to better success for our clients! That’s why it’s the very first piece of the WunderTRE(k) journey.
The Rulebook is the ultimate driver of our mission, “to make business better!”
Once we have the Rulebook in place for you, it’s like the north-star, or the compass, or…. the set of rules we use as a guide when approaching all our other service offerings for your business.
Having the Rulebook in place from square-one allows us to leverage the power of brand psychology and the inbound methodology for the rest of the WunderTRE(k) journey, which we hope is long and prosperous. You can learn more about the Rulebook and what it includes here.
The biggest part of the WunderTRE(k) is actually getting to work with our team. Now, you might be asking, what makes that so special? The answer, we genuinely care. That’s an easy claim to make in some simple website copy, but we feel like our actions back it up. How? Here’s a few ways…
We’ve been known to have 4 hour long meetings with our clients just to get to know them and their business better, even if we only had an hour blocked out on our calendar initially. We answer the phone as much as reasonably possible, even if we’re standing in line at the grocery store (true story)! If there is an issue and it was our fault, we’re more likely to bring it up to you before you can bring it up to us. We live by a mantra, “We don’t always get it right, but we always try to make it right.” We’re always learning and getting better for our clients. We are not afraid of trying something and failing, we’ll just get back up and try something different.
So, there’s some ways we demonstrate that we care. Our actions 100% back us up and you can ask our clients and they’ll agree! So first and foremost we have integrity, but what are some of the other advantages you get when working with our team?
Keepers of your brand. After talking with us for just 10 minutes you’ll quickly understand that our team takes branding seriously. We believe branding is the crux of every business and it’s so important to get it right. One thing that just comes naturally when working with us is getting your brand set up for success. We never think small, we always approach the situation as if whatever we’re helping clients with could become a global sensation. Also, if we notice that you or your team may be doing something that could damage your brands reputation, we’re going to bring it up and provide you with a different solution. We understand that you’re busy running the business, not busy thinking about if you post a picture with different colors than your brand, that’s while we’ll be on the outside looking in making sure we catch that stuff for you.
People that understand business. Every business is different but that doesn’t mean the basic principles of business don’t apply. We understand how to navigate the complexities of juggling hundreds of takes at once, and managing a growing company. While we wouldn’t outright call ourselves consultants, we often find ourselves consulting our clients on different matters of business, if we don’t now how to do it, or we don’t have the qualifications, we’ll get you in touch with someone that does. While we try to focus on helping our clients with marketing, sales, and service solutions, at the end of the day we want to help businesses become better, so we do whatever we can to accomplish that.
Transparency isn’t something you should have to beg for, it should come standard. We focus on being as transparent as possible. If you want to know how we do something, we’ll show you. If you want to know which members of our team worked on your project, we’ll tell you. There is no such thing as “trade secrets” with us.
We know we’re only as good as those we align ourselves with. That’s why we’ve aligned ourselves with some of the biggest names in the marketing and sales world! As an added bonus of partnering with us, you get the chance to leverage our partnerships with Hubspot, Mailchimp, and Databox. Each one allows us more capibilties.
We strive to have the most capable team around. If we build you a website, you best believe it’s going to be dang good. If we design graphics to go on social media for your business, rest assured that it will elevate your business’ appearance. Bottom line, we do good work and it literally shows.
A training requirement for all our full-time and part-time employees is to become “Inbound Certified” through HubSpot academy. This means everyone on our team from the top-down is capable of helping your business with implement the inbound methodology.
We also believe greatly in cross-training our team. That means everyone on our team, at least to some extent, knows how deliver everything we offer. This is something we take great pride in.

Like we stated before, WunderTRE(k) was originally designed to be a leveling system that shows our clients what the impact of every digital marketing action has on their business. After working on that for months and doing somewhat of a “roll-out” we realized, the leveling system aspect is really only part of what WunderTRE(k) is, that’s why we’ve reshaped it. That being said, the system behind the journey is still very important.
Currently, we are working on an app that our clients can use that will take different key business metrics and then generate a number, sort of like a credit score, that represents how well their business is doing from a growth standpoint. So when you login to the app, one of the first things you’ll see is a number called your WunderTRE(k) score. This is important because in a busy world, it can be hard to know if what you’re doing is truly helping your cause.
In addition to the score, we also will leverage the app to bring you relevant notifications that can aid you in growing your business.
WunderTRE/U will be introduced through the app as an education hub where we offer video lessons on how you can implement marketing, sales, and services tactics in adddtion to what we’re already doing for you.
Like everything we strive to do, the WunderTRE app will be positioned to help you make your business better.
The Rules and The Team are in full-swing, we expect The Tech portion to be ready in Q1 2020 to help round out the trifecta of awesomeness.
So, as of today, and from now on, WunderTRE(k) is our term for the experience we offer our clients. Layers deep and heavily integrated with all the services we offer, we expect the journey to evolve even further. We can’t wait to see where it goes!
